"Turning scrap into sculpture, steel into story."

I’m a Tucson-based metal sculptor working primarily with reclaimed and recycled steel. The desert landscape shapes both my materials and my mindset — wild, weathered, and built to endure. Each piece begins with something discarded and is transformed into work meant to last for generations. My sculptures are designed for the outdoors and built to withstand the same sun, wind, and seasons that shape the Southwest. Over time, their surfaces deepen, their patinas evolve, and their character grows richer. No two pieces age the same way. These works aren’t static objects — they interact with light, environment, and time. They’re meant to live in the world, not sit apart from it.Alongside my sculpture practice, I share the skills and lessons behind the craft through practical guides and e-books for beginners who want to learn metalworking without intimidation. My goal is simple: to show that the same raw materials used to build lasting sculpture can also build confidence, independence, and creativity in the people who pick up the tools.
